Description
Read "Fantasy at Work" by Sylvia Martin. Essentially, the production of movies in Hong Kong reflect the “flexibility” and the “border-crossing” processes of those involved in the production. Factors that influence this are sexuality, perceptions of self, spirituality versus rationality, language, Hong Kong’s colonial past, and Hong Kong’s current mainland Chinese immigration. Also, met with Caesar, and spoke with John Sommerheuser (sp?) and contacted Sylvia Martin.via Martin.
